Good Time Threads

First off, if you're not on Etsy, you need to be. If you are on Etsy, you need to be following Good Time Threads. And you need to be buying from them! (And me!!)

This week has been pretty busy so I was really negligent about checking the mail. I went to the mailbox today and found a USPS envelope which was strange. I saw it was a package from an Etsy shop (which was weird because I hadn't ordered anything) so I opened it up....to the greatest package of all time. 

Let me take it back a little: Matthew is in love with NASA. All space, really. His room back home still has those glow in the dark stars taped all over the ceiling and fan! He has a NASA shirt he bought while at USMA and wears it all the time. Last Christmas, he made an emergency run to Target on Christmas Eve and while he was shopping for someone else, he found a NASA sweater and HAD to buy it for me so we were twins (both owning a shirt!). When we had Murphy's gender reveal, he wore that shirt because he said "I don't care what gender it is-just as long as it's smart and loves space like we do". (I just love stars!) So basically, NASA wear is a thing in our house.

Anyway, I open up the package (in the car right outside the mailboxes because I'm a child and can't wait) to find the most adorable, NEWBORN sized grey onesie with NASA on the front. JUST LIKE MATTHEWS SHIRT!! I was in awe for a second, overwhelmed with emotions, wanting to cry, and RUSH home to show Lovey just what we got! I could not handle the cuteness of it ON TOP of the fact that I couldn't figure out where it came from! I seriously asked myself "did I buy this?" then looked around the packaging to see if I was missing something. All I found was a order form that said "A gift for you---enjoy!" How amazing is that?!

Like seriously, cutest onesie ever! And greatest surprise!!

I literally flew home, RAN out of the car and inside to show Matthew. He doesn't get super excited about baby stuff (besides our carseat/stroller) but this he was! And the greatest part? We both agreed we are bringing Murphy home from the hospital in this onesie!! He is obsessed with it, so am I, and now I can't wait for baby girl to get here just so we can see how stinkin' cute she's going to look in it!

Moral of this story--I don't know if anyone we personally know ordered this for us or not (and if someone we know DID, please come forward! We'd love to thank you personally!!)--

UPDATE! I FOUND OUT THE RIGHTFUL PURCHASER! Matthew coached football at USMAPS and one of his players, Holt, and his adorably amazing girlfriend Emmie bought it for us! They're "avid" readers of the blog and noticed that Matthew and I were wearing NASA shirts and said baby girl had to have a matching one! IS THAT NOT THE CUTEST!? I've thanked Emmie, but again, THANK YOU HOLT AND EMMIE!!!! We are so in love with this onesie and can't wait to see this lil babe in it!
